I volunteered last season — do I need to do a background check again?

Possibly — background checks must be renewed on a per-annual basis. Checks are valid for 12 months from the date of a favorable completion; Ankored will show whether yours is still current. If you’re volunteering in multiple sports/seasons within the 12 month period, you will not need to complete the background check again, unless the season continues past the 12 month mark.
