Can the Parent Assistant Coach recommend plays or a playbook?

Yes, we support the Parent Assistant Coach working with the Student Head Coach on all aspects related to the team. A collaborative approach to play calling, both on the offensive and defensive is acceptable, yet all final decisions and calls go to the Student Head Coach. We do not allow Parent Assistant Coaches to call plays through a system (wrist bands, signals or otherwise) to the Student on the field - this defeats the purpose of the Student being the Offensive Coordinator.
